The Young Scandinavian Society for Immunology (ySSI) was founded in December 2020 with the aim to build an Early Career Researchers (ECRs) network across 5 Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland) and to disseminate their research, defend their interests and support their career development as well as to increase their visibility on both National and European level. The ySSI is supported by the Scandinavian Society for Immunology (SSI) and is part of the European Federation of Immunological Society Young Immunologist Network (yEFIS). For now, ySSI membership is free of charge but the terms of membership in ySSI may be subject to change in the future to be in compliance with yEFIS membership terms.

You are eligible to join ySSI if you:

– Are an early career researcher (period between completion of undergraduate studies (bachelor’s degree) and <10 years after your PhD)
– Work in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway or Sweden, in the field of immunology, or if your work is somehow related to immunology
