The 8th of March is International Women’s Day and to celebrate, the ySSI team invites you to join the seminar “Women in Science: a seminar with Heidi Haikala”on the 7th of March from 1PM CET.
👩🔬Heidi is a PI in at the University of Helsinki and an assistant professor at the University of Tampere. She previously worked as a post-doc at Dana-Faber Institute and Harvard Medical School. She came back to Helsinki and founded, not only a great research group studying immunotherapies for lung cancer, but also “SOLID-IO” an immunotherapy testing platform.
In this seminar, Heidi will tell us more about her research, but also share her experience as a successful woman in science.
